Cooked over live fire, the way Lena's grandmother taught her
Head chef Lena Khoury grew up between Beirut and the California coast, and Saffron & Smoke is where those two tables meet. Everything starts at the oak-fired hearth: vegetables charred until sweet, lamb rested low and slow, bread pulled fresh through service.
We buy whole, waste little, and change the board as the market changes. Our suppliers are named on the chalk wall by the bar — go say hello.
